The biggest Christmas party nights in Coventry have smashed through the 10,000 barrier.

Christmas Live at the Ricoh Arena entertained over 6,000 revellers in 2006

Popular local band The Swains – who will perform classic and modern hits from the last four decades – are among the highlights of the festive fun nights which will be held in the Jaguar Exhibition Hall in conjunction with Hegstrordinary Events.

Mikala Turner, Special Events Sales Manager at the Ricoh Arena, said party organisers who had not yet booked their annual festive get-together should not panic.

“Last year was the first time the Ricoh had staged Christmas Live and we were delighted that 6,000 people came along,” she said.

“We currently have 10,000 bookings for 2007 which is a superb endorsement of the party nights.

“The feed-back we received last year was extremely positive which is why we have 13 dates throughout December set aside for Christmas Live.

“There will be a carousel, dodgems and twister in the indoor fun fair, amusement stands including hook a duck and test your strength, The Swains will be playing every night and there will also be entertainment during the four-course dinner and a disco.

“The Jaguar Hall will look fantastic as well because the walls will be draped throughout and there will be loads of twinkling lights and fabulous dressing to help get everyone in the mood for the festive season.

“Anyone who has left it until the last minute to book their office Christmas party shouldn’t worry because we still have spaces left but these are being booked quickly.

“It would make sense to get in touch so that you don’t miss out on a memorable night which can be extended by heading to the Isle Casino once the party is over.”
